EXPOAID confirms its status as the landmark institutional and social event for the third sector and inclusion. The 2026 edition transformed a massive exhibition area (over 45,000 sqm across 3 different locations) into a village of integration, sharing, and rights, capturing the attention of institutions, associations, and citizens alike. With a monumental program focused on accessibility, the event provided a unique platform for discussion, training, and showcasing Italian social and healthcare excellence.
The event seamlessly combined a packed scientific and workshop agenda with great moments of gathering, sports activities, and evening entertainment. This was supported by complex logistics management and a strategic communication campaign that generated an extraordinary media impact both on the web and social media. Indeed, the massive resonance of the event translated into extraordinary digital results across all proprietary and editorial channels, generating a Total Reach of 3,633,608 contacts—with over 600 press and web features during the event—alongside 31,000 website views, 1,000,870 total views on social media channels, and an outstanding 99% positive sentiment.
The cultural heart of the event offered an enormous variety of educational and informative content, structured into parallel sessions and hands-on activities where associations and participants truly made a difference. Outstanding service efficiency and health promotion were guaranteed through rigorous, sustainability-oriented logistical planning.
Activities and Presentations: A total of 155 hours of seminar and workshop activities, driven by 53 thematic panels and an impressive 687 total presentations.
Hands-on Workshops: 4 major active workshops centered on Cooking (Biscuits and Piadine), Music, and Fabric.

Inclusive Catering: A flexible system based on 18 food outlets and a 30-meter-long service counter. The “Catering Team” management (over 300 staff and more than 30 associations involved) successfully delivered 5,000 total meals (1,500 on the 25th and 3,500 on the 26th) under a strict zero-food-waste policy. Over 10,000 bottles of water were also distributed free of charge during the event.
EXPOAID SOTTO LE STELLE
At sunset, the event extended its programming, transforming into a vibrant open-air festival at the Rimini’s Harbour. Two evenings saw an extraordinary turnout of visitors thanks to a rich and diverse offering put forward by over 140 associations from all over Italy. This space became a true urban festival of solidarity and fun, designed to foster spontaneous gathering and celebrate inclusion through music, great food, and entertainment. The public had the chance to stroll among 90 craft markets run by the associations and savor the culinary selection of 30 handpicked food trucks operating throughout the area.
The evenings were set to an extraordinary artistic lineup. On stage, 16 music bands took turns playing a wide variety of genres, bringing rhythm and energy to everyone present. Central highlights of the outdoor program included the inclusive beach fashion show, which brought delegations and visitors together in a highly visual and empowering moment, paralympic dance performances, and mototherapy sessions—a highly social and therapeutic activity that successfully engaged 150 participants.
Equally impactful and thrilling was the acrobatic display by We-Fly, the world’s first and only inclusive air patrol consisting of both disabled and non-disabled pilots, who delivered a unique show, painting the sky with the colors of EXPOAID.
Enhanced Transport: Accessible shuttles were provided for people with disabilities, and the Rimini bus network was boosted to ensure smooth and easy travel for all participants.
