“HUMANLANDS -Together for Humanity” EXPOROME2030

“HUMANLANDS – Together for Humanity” is the event promoting Rome’s candidacy for Expo 2030. It took place on June 20th, 2023, at the evocative 18th century venue of the Italian Embassy in Paris, in the presence of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, BIE Delegates and institutional personalities.

A 45-minute-long exhibition, organised in collaboration with Filmmaster Events, built around two great key elements: water, the symbol of connection and life, narrated through the fountains of Villa d’Este that inspired Versailles, and the human connection represented by the body language used in the extraordinary artistic performances of the dancers.

A major player of the show was singer Elisa, a long-standing promoter of environmental values, who performed some of her most famous songs accompanied by the Sunset String Quintet.

The soundtrack of the event was provided by composer Dardust. The performances by the two world-renowned choreographers Yoann Bourgeois and Sadeck Waff, joined by dancers of different nationalities, provided intense emotions that led to reflection on themes of dialogue and the coming together of humanity.

Inside the Embassy, a model of Rome’s project for Expo 2030, along with multimedia installations and robotic arms, were set up to make the BIE Delegates relive the values and characteristics of the bid and the masterplan.
