The 46th SICV-GIS National Congress was held in Bari at the Hotel Nicolaus from 22 to 24 May 2025.

For the first time, the congress had an innovative format with the presence of single-topic break-out sessions with papers on the subject, free communications and clinical case presentations that were repeated several times over the three days so that each participant could build a “tailor-made” event.

The specialisation schools in orthopaedics and neurosurgery were extensively involved through the Spinal League, a competition between residents divided into teams with different theoretical and practical tests.

During the conference, a social dinner was held at the picturesque location Villa De Grecis. A moment of networking and sociability, characterised by the taste of local products and the exclusive atmosphere of the historic residence.
