SICV&GIS TURIN 2023

The 44th edition of the Congress of the Spinal Surgery Society, SICV&GIS, took place May 25^th to 27^th at the Lingotto congress centre in Turin. An appointment that is renewed and that Ega has been managing for many years.

Three days of lectures and sessions, by nationally and internationally renowned experts in the field, on topics of great importance, including spinal column injuries, deformities in childhood, the degenerative cervical spine and surgical routines, as well as giving ample space to the future of the discipline and the use of new technologies in the conservative, surgical treatment and recovery of patients with spinal diseases. In light of this, a dedicated ‘GIS Young’ session was implemented for young spine surgeons in training.

Several social events were also held during the Congress, including a Gala Dinner at Villa Sassi, to encourage meeting and networking.
