26th AIIC NATIONAL CONFERENCE – TURIN 2026

Year after year, the National Conference of the Italian Association of Clinical Engineers (AIIC) confirms its position as the absolute benchmark for technological innovation in healthcare. Held in the striking and exceptional setting of the OGR (Officine Grandi Riparazioni) in Turin from June 10th to 13th, 2026, the 26th National Conference saw a record participation of over 3,000 professionals.

Throughout the four days of work, the intensive scientific program explored the hottest technological trajectories in the sector, combining traditional sessions with a robust educational offering and major moments celebrating excellence in projects and exhibitions. Across more than 45 scientific sessions, key topics were addressed, including the integration of Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity challenges in healthcare, the state of the art in acquiring major biomedical equipment, and the practical implementation of PNRR (National Recovery and Resilience Plan) initiatives. Significant focus was also dedicated to the new European Medical Device Regulations (MDR/IVDR) and Health Technology Assessment (HTA) models applied to value-based procurement. Finally, a crucial focus centered on the safety of technologies outside the hospital setting, addressing the current strong drive toward local and community healthcare.

In parallel with the discussion panels, the event integrated a vital educational core to support the professional growth of the category. Indeed, two entire days were dedicated to technical and managerial training, offering participants a choice of 12 vertical specialized courses that enabled the awarding of Professional Training Credits (CFP).
