The second edition of the World Durum and Pasta Forum was held in Rome, at Palazzo Brancaccio, on 26 September 2025. A day entirely dedicated to the durum wheat sector, in which leading experts in the cereal sector, renowned pasta producers, millers, traders and market analysts will discuss global trends, harvest prospects, risk management strategies and future challenges for the sector.

After contributing to the first edition last year, EGA is consolidating its collaboration with WDPF, the first international event entirely dedicated to the durum wheat and pasta markets, which has successfully established itself as a point of reference for all players in the supply chain.

Complete management of the event

The day begins with registration and a welcome to participants from all over the world, followed by the official opening of proceedings and institutional speeches introducing the central themes of the forum: the future of durum wheat, the sustainability of the supply chain and the global challenges facing the pasta market.

During the morning, plenary sessions and round tables bring together experts, producers and industry representatives to analyse trends, innovations and shared strategies.

After a networking lunch break, the afternoon will be dedicated to technical insights on digitalisation, logistics and sustainability, with open and interactive discussions between the audience and speakers.

The day will conclude with a final summary of the proceedings and a closing cocktail reception, an opportunity to consolidate relationships and exchange ideas in an informal but highly professional atmosphere.
