On October 18, 2024, at Palazzo Brancaccio in Rome, World Durum and Pasta Forum, the first international event in Italy dedicated exclusively to durum wheat and pasta markets, made its debut. More than 350 operators from North America, Turkey, the European Union, North Africa, Kazakhstan and the Black Sea region for an extraordinary, informative and engaging event focused on durum wheat and pasta markets.
The event, moderated by SKY journalist Claudio Calì, opened with greetings from ICE Director General, Lorenzo Galanti. This was followed by a dialogue between the protagonists of the sector: Vincenzo Divella (Divella Spa), Giuseppe Ferro (La Molisana Spa), Mariella Bianchi (Molitoria Umbra Srl), Angelo Mastrolia (New Princes Group) and Massimo Menna (Pastificio Lucio Garofalo Spa).
The talk then expanded with speeches from 6 experts in international durum wheat and pasta markets:
