Ryder Cup 2023 Gala Dinner – Terme di Caracalla

The Ryder Cup 2023, the prestigious world golf tournament, was held in Rome, at the Marco Simone Golf & Country Club, from September 25^th to October 1^st. An event that brought an enormous number of resources and energy to the capital.

The inauguration dinner, held in the picturesque area of the Terme di Caracalla on September 27^th, was entirely managed by Ega. A high-impact event for more than 1,000 guests from the world of sport, politics and television. To ensure a smooth running of the evening, a team of professionals was put in place, made up of 130 perfectly coordinated waiters that served a 3-course menu created in 6 different kitchens set up on site, each with its own chef and brigade. The final dessert in the shape of a golf ball, was created for the occasion by chef Federico Prodon, and it was an homage to the Ryder Cup.

There was also no shortage of entertainment: from the rich welcome drink to Letizia Battaglia’s exhibition ‘Senza Fine’ (Endless), from the various musicians and singers located at strategic points of the venue to the final performance by the Farfalle Luminose (Luminous Butterflies).
