The Thematic Symposium of Expo 2030 Rome, organised in collaboration with Filmmaster Events, brought together experts, thinkers, and artists to discuss future challenges and opportunities. An immersive journey dedicated to ‘People and Territories’, where a major role was given to the themes of inclusiveness, sustainability, and the interconnectedness of our world.
In about two hours, the event, hosted by Mia Ceran, alternated moments of culture and education with moments of entertainment thanks to the immersive performances by Roberto Bolle and Nicoletta Manni, with music provided by Gavino Murgia.
The Secretary General of the BIE, Dimitri Kerkentzes, the Mayor of Rome, Roberto Gualtieri, the entrepreneur Eric Pulier and the activist Licypriya Kangujam. all took part in the event by giving speeches.
The speeches addressed various issues following these 5 guidelines:
- Living and habitat;
- Roads, routes, networks, borders;
- Territories and inclusion;
- Environment, energy, resources;
- Risk, risk, vulnerability and resilience.
Among the many testimonies, there were those of the 10 students of the innovative Global Governance course at the Tor Vergata University of Rome and Massimo Vallati’s Social Football.
