The tenth edition of the biennial ESES (European Society of Endocrine Surgeons) congress was held in Rome from May 22nd to 25th, 2024, bringing together over 600 doctors, practitioners, and endocrinology experts from across Europe. On this occasion, the 20th anniversary of the society’s founding was also celebrated, with numerous opportunities for discussion and reflection on the progress made since the first congress in Pisa in 2004.

The congress concluded with an elegant gala dinner at Terrazza Caffarelli, located at the Capitoline Museums, offering stunning views of central Rome. This event provided guests with a cultural and gastronomic experience, featuring a special performance by singer Gigi D’Alessio, who sang some of the most famous Neapolitan songs. The evening ended with the traditional chain handover ceremony to the next president.
