The 47th SITO (Italian Society for Organ Transplantation) national congress was held in Palermo, Italy, October 6-8, 2024. More than 700 participants gathered at the Saracen Sands Hotel & Congress Centre for 3 days focused on all the topical issues in transplantology, from immunosuppression to overcoming biological incompatibility barriers, from donor infectious risk to infections in the recipient.
