Fuori Festa, the fuori salone of the Rome Film Festival, was held for the second consecutive year from October 16 to 27. The heart of this second edition was the exhibition of Maestro Renato Casaro, the man who designed cinema. More than 40 reproductions of the original sketches of the Maestro’s works in an exhibition spread between the Casa del Cinema in Rome, Via Veneto and St. Regis Hotel.
The exhibition, promoted by EGACTIVE, was curated by Monica Vallerini together with Elisabetta Pasqualin and Chiara Matteazzi and Ursula Seelenbacher, was a great success and Maestro Casaro himself was present at its opening as well as at dedicated events and master classes where he was able to meet students and enthusiasts.
The Exhibition remained open to the public free of charge until the end of the Film Festival giving cinephiles and non-cinephiles alike a chance to enjoy the beauty of some of the most iconic posters in the history of world cinema.
Master Renato Casaro, in one of the many interviews, said, “Film is my hobby. My hobby is the craft. The craft is my life. And my life is a film in technicolor and cinemascope.”
Alongside the exhibition, numerous other events were held at the St. Regis Hotel, also a partner in the project this year, where the opening dinner of the Film Festival was held, where the Molinari corner was repurposed, as well as numerous other aperitifs, a Dress Up Night and the Hot Corn panel.

in collaboration with Festa del Cinema di Roma and Casa del Cinema di Roma.
Under the patronage of Direzione Generale Musei Nazionali and Primo Municipio di Roma.
